short story writer, novelist, historian, literary critic. Born 8th December 1961 in Cluj, Romania. Graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Skopje. Ph.D. in Philology. Works in the Folklore Institute “Marko Cepenkov” in Skopje. Member of the Macedonian Writers’ Association since 1994. As of 2015, he acts as the President of the Macedonian PEN centre.

Works: Half of the Rainbow (short stories, 1992), Tradition, narration, literature (monograph, 1996), An Aristocrat (novel, 1997), When umbrellas were invented in Skopje (short stories, 1999), Macedonian Cosmogonic Legends (study 2000), Text and Mentality (collection, 2000).
